JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Parts Person is responsible for maintaining an inventory level necessary to operate an efficient shop production, as requested by the Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for:
• Management of owned and consigned inventory.
• Issuance and control of purchase orders.
• Ordering of parts and supplies and work invoicing of internal and external customers.
• Customer service representative for external customers.

SKILLS

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven track record of group leadership and commitment to quality and safety.
• Knowledge of Trimac's operating standards, policies and procedures would be helpful.
• Some knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts would be considered an asset, but not essential.
• Must be computer literate (Transman / Windows/ People Soft).
• This position involves extensive use of inputting of accurate data, for accounting purposes.
• Bilingual French and English.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
